SCOTT, Austin, a Representative from Georgia; born in Augusta, Richmond County, Ga., December 10, 1969; graduated from Tiftarea Academy, Chula, Ga., 1987; B.B.A., University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., 1993; business owner; member of the Georgia state house of representatives, 1997-2010; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth and to the seven succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2011-present).
