MENENDEZ, Robert, (son of [Robert Menendez](https://bioguide.congress.gov/search/bio/M000639) ), a Representative from New Jersey; born in Englewood, Bergen County, N.J., July 12, 1985; graduated from the Hudson School, Hoboken, N.J., 2003; B.A., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, N.C., 2008; J.D., Rutgers Law School, Newark, N.J., 2011; lawyer, private practice; member of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey board of commissioners, 2021-2022; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Eighteenth Congress and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2023-present).
