GRAVES, Samuel, a Representative from Missouri; born in Tarkio, Atchison County, Mo., November 7, 1963; graduated from Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Mo., 1982; B.S., University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., 1986; member of the Missouri state house of representatives, 1992-1994; member of the Missouri state senate, 1994-2000; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventh and to the twelve succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2001-present); chair, Committee on Small Business (One Hundred Twelfth and One Hundred Thirteenth Congresses); chair, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure (One Hundred Eighteenth and One Hundred Nineteenth Congresses).
