DOWNING, Troy, a Representative from Montana; born March 4, 1967; graduated from Indio High School, Indio, Calif., 1985; attended New York University, New York, N.Y.; United States Air Force and California Air National Guard, 2001-2009; research scientist; teacher; business owner; unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States Senate in 2018; Montana state auditor, 2021-2024; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress (January 3, 2025-present).
