JACKSON, Jonathan, (brother of [Jesse L. Jackson, Jr.](https://bioguide.congress.gov/search/bio/J000283) ), a Representative from Illinois; born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., January 7, 1966; graduated from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, Chicago, Ill., 1984; B.S. North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University, Greensboro, NC, 1988; M.B.A., Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., 1991; financial analyst; business owner; nonprofit spokesperson; professor, City Colleges of Chicago, Kennedy-King College, 2011-2013; professor, Chicago State University, 2013-2015; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Eighteenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2023-present).
