BRITT, Katie Boyd, a Senator from Alabama; born in Enterprise, Ala., February 2, 1982; graduated Enterprise High School, 2000; B.S., political science, University of Alabama, 2004; J.D., University of Alabama School of Law, 2013;  worked as press secretary and later as chief of staff to Senator Richard Shelby; campaign manager and campaign communications director for Senator Richard Shelby; lawyer; organization president and CEO; elected as a Republican to the United States Senate in 2022 for the term ending January 3, 2029.
